The Miller’s originally had land and held the retreats in Breckenridge, Colorado.
When Porter and Rounds Lumber began developing the ski area after receiving a permit from the U.S. Forest Service in 1961. Fearing an explosion of people, Wilma and her husband had decided to relocate themselves and their cabin from Breckenridge to Fraser in 1962.
As the ski area expanded in Breckenridge, the Miller's sold their property and bought 40 acres in Fraser Valley. They decided to take their family home with them as it was a good guest cabin. They moved it over Ute Pass to it’s new home in Fraser. It was recently remodeled to extend its life and provide extra comfort to its residents. It is been a special cabin for all, which also provides the “Tiny Deck” stage for the Summer Solstice and other gatherings.
